ABOUT
My yoga journey began over 20 years ago when I began taking classes to tap into stillness and manage energy. I had been working as counselor in mental and substance abuse settings at the time. I began a daily practice in 2017, and inspired by my teachers I enrolled in Kripalu School of Yoga in 2019, where I completed 200 hour teacher training.
Since then, I have been dedicated to increasing insight and skill building both on and off the mat. I continue to work in private practice as a clinical social worker and enrich my practice and teachings to guide others to tap into silliness, create awareness of body mind connection and manage energy.

Trainings:

Why Kripalu Yoga? What is Kripalu Yoga?

“Kripalu” translates into compassion or “one who is compassionate” and “yoga” translates to connection, to join or to “yoke’. Kripalu yoga loosely translates to compassionate connection towards self, in both our physical practices on and off the mat, and in our own internal process with ourselves and others. Every Body is Welcome.
